So， overall a very interesting read。I forgot the premise of the book when I began reading it， so I was intrigued， then surprised， then surprised again。 Then I reread the blurb and laughed at myself for misunderstanding what I was reading so much at first。 But in a good way。So our FMC is heading overseas for a work related outing just a few short but important weeks before her wedding。 On the way out she catches her fiancé with a coworker in a compromising position。 She is， of course， devastated。 So， overall a very interesting read。I forgot the premise of the book when I began reading it， so I was intrigued， then surprised， then surprised again。 Then I reread the blurb and laughed at myself for misunderstanding what I was reading so much at first。 But in a good way。So our FMC is heading overseas for a work related outing just a few short but important weeks before her wedding。 On the way out she catches her fiancé with a coworker in a compromising position。 She is， of course， devastated。 Her bosses sweep her away from him and onto the plane very quickly， and the story starts， really， from there。 What went before is just set up， basically。 Important， but not really part of the story。Really the part of the whole thing that bothered me the most is that the men took her on this trip to potentially have sex with her because they were fascinated with her， and they wanted to clear up whether she was their mate or not。 Okay， so events conspired so that it wasn't really in question whether they'd have sex while she was in a relationship with Original Jerk Fiancé or not， so ultimately it doesn't matter？ She was wildly in lust with the both of them while planning to get married， so it was mutual。 If they had talked her around to the idea it wouldn't have been… a forced anything。 But she would probably have not told the fiancé， so that would have been not ideal。 Plus the had sex with her while she was willing， but compromised due to her being in a very emotionally charged state， but then also made her think that was a dream？ Just not a stellar situation overall。 Plus I'm not sure if the original intent of the couple had happened， were they planning on making her forget afterwards， or just letting her go back to the then fiancé to go through with the wedding without telling him？ All food for thought， and of course not really a problem because it isn't what ended up happening， and I hear a few of you yelling at me that if it isn't what happened it doesn't really matter。 Except that isn't true。 They planned some messed up stuff， and maybe it shouldn't， but it does make me thing less of them。 Of course， they also admitted that in the past their race of people had done some other messed up stuff but had learned better， so really I can let it go。 But it is still wrong， and if that sort of stuff is upsetting to you， potential reader， then I suggest you pass this one over。In the end I quite enjoyed this book。 I am going to be checking out what else this author has written。 Hopefully with less potential cheating and lying involved， but I'm willing to give this the benefit of what doubt was written into the text。 It was good。I received an advance review copy for free， and I am leaving this review voluntarily。 。。。more

This book is mostly about their horizontal times， while that’s not always a bad thing more story would have helped。 I left it as a low 3 stars but I think it’s closer to 2 and half stars staying true to how I rate books。We have the overdone cheating boyfriend， the billionaire bosses Lachlan and Alec， and the swoony female lead Chloe。 At the airport on her way to Scotland with her bosses Chloe runs into her cheating soon to be ex-boyfriend with his side piece。 We get the expected waterworks。On th This book is mostly about their horizontal times， while that’s not always a bad thing more story would have helped。 I left it as a low 3 stars but I think it’s closer to 2 and half stars staying true to how I rate books。We have the overdone cheating boyfriend， the billionaire bosses Lachlan and Alec， and the swoony female lead Chloe。 At the airport on her way to Scotland with her bosses Chloe runs into her cheating soon to be ex-boyfriend with his side piece。 We get the expected waterworks。On the private plane over things get heated between Chloe， Lachlan and Alec。 There is a lot of male-on-male action so be aware of that。 We get little bits about what Lachlan and Alec are。 Unfortunately， we don’t really get a good feel of the dragon parts of them。 The author throws in some unusual mixes but doesn’t spend enough time really fleshing it out。There are so many questions for me at least and points that are made but don’t go anywhere。 It sounds like Chloe came from money or at least grew up a privileged life。 Her mother is a real piece of work there are threats but those seem to be a lot of white noise。 We know that Lachlan and Alec have been together for a long time don’t know the why and what brought them together。 They run a large business， yet they are only taking there underqualified but likeable assistant away with them and what is she supposed to actually do on this trip？ What is their business？ Once they all become an item it seems that the business is now a secondary thought？ There are loads more questions， but you get the general idea。I wish more time was spent on developing the story and less time on the sexy parts。 There are some new elements that I hadn’t heard before and it would have been nice to get more in that area。 The warring factions with no rhyme or reason is so overdone that it was a yawn。 Plus the inevitable TSTL moment of the female lead taking off with no regards to her personal safety so that she can be taken by the bad guys for her to be rescued… insert eye roll。There is potential here to really flesh this out and make it something more than just bedroom hijinks。I received an advance review copy for free， and I am leaving this review voluntarily。 。。。more
